Community Solutions for Transportation 9 (CST 9) 2008-2009
Appropriation Level: $2,200,000
Fifty two (52) local department of social services were awarded CST 9 funding in accordance with 08-LCM-05 to provide transportation services to TANF eligibles who are employed or participating in allowable employment activities. Local districts collaborated with service providers from the public and private sectors to design a program to meet the transportation needs of TANF eligible individuals residing in their district. Services may include driver education, modified public transportation services, van pool programs, transit passes, gas cards, car repairs, license and registration fees, auto insurance and auto loan programs.
